Manoharan ia an Indian Air Force veteran with an unblemished record of 15 years of Defence Service mostly in the northen part of India. Mr. Manoharan has also served an eventful 10 years in Airport Authority of India, Chennai.
Driven by passion to explore the world of opportunities as an entrepreneur Mr. Manoharan took voluntary retirement from AAI to venture in to the field of construction. To day Ruby Builders and Promoters is one of the most trusted and well established property developers in Chennai having completed more than 170 projects.
The success of Ruby Builders and Promoters has inspired Mr. Manoharan to expand his area of interest and resulted inestablishing five more companies- Ruby Manoharan Property Developers Private Limited, Ruby Manoharan Housing Private Limited, Ruby Ceramics Private Limited, Ruby Readymix Concrete Private Limited and Ruby Doors and Windows. In 2015 the International Association of Lions Clubs, District 324A6, awarded LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD for his services through Lions Organisation.
In recognition of his distinguished achievements in the International levelin the fiels of civil accommodation, Inter-American University of Humanitics Studies, USA has conferred him “ Doctor Of Philosophy in Civil Accommodation” in the Year 2009.
Ln. Dr. Ruby Manoharan has established a school in his native village, Kunnathur, Kanyakumari District, Sri Krishna Matriculation higher Secondary School and offering quality education to nearly 1500 students at affordable fees.
Ln. Dr. Ruby Manoharan is an active lion member since 2006 and was Charter President of Lions Club of Chennai Tambaram Central 2008-2009. He held positions at District level as District Chairperson, Zone Chairperson, Region Chairperson etc. He has organized various service activities under lions banner which has culminated in setting up the present trust.
